The Origin Story

It Started with a Birthday Party

Rylan was turning 1, and his dad needed an invite. How hard could it be?

Turns out, $8 per invite on Paperless Post hard. Or "pick from 200 of the same template" hard. So instead of just making the invite, dad opened Claude, described the vibe, uploaded a few inspiration photos, and got back a fully custom, beautifully designed HTML invitation in about 90 seconds. It looked better than anything on the premium platforms. And it was free.

That should have been the end of it. Make the invite. Send the invite. Eat the cake. But instead, the thought crept in: "What if everyone could do this?" And then the completely over-engineered fun project began.
